Prof. Gail S. Goodman holds a Honorary Chair in Psychology at the University of California Davis and is the Director of its Center for Public Policy Research. She is widely acknowledged for launching the modern science of the eyewitness memory of children and utilizing child victims to serve as witnesses in court. Professor Goodman who is a prolific author with numerous publications and many grants to her name she is also the winner of numerous national and global distinctions. She has provided advice on policy and research for numerous government agencies and departments across the world. Additionally, she provides consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) and is a part of Sacramento County Child Protective Services.
