Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her other roles comprise Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School, before her family relocated to Ohio in the late 1970's. Her studies in theatre was at Northwestern University. A semester was taken in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for a number of years before attempting TV and movie role. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big part in the role of Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. Anna continued to be in film as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late 1990's. She was then selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years during Deadwood's 2nd season. Skyler played Martha Bullock on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully is the Deadwood film and a few other films included her. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. In 2022 the actress also was a part of a four-part podcast of audio plays called"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and final break-up echoes the end of Walter White's life.
